DESIGN TIPS

Working with shadows and texture

  • Place pale lettering over darker areas, keeping fine logo details away from branches and textured rock.
  • Try a near-monochrome palette. Bone white or muted grey can sit naturally alongside grainy artwork.
  • Add grain gradually. Backgrounds with scratches and worn edges may already have enough texture.
